INTRODUCTION Read the WORD, believe, and then obey, and you will be IMMORTAL and know JOY, LOVE, and GRACE in this world. And in the next world, you will know PARADISE, for all eternity, and be in companionship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit! You will be the BRIDE of Christ, joint heir of everything Jesus owns, and in companionship with God, FOREVER ! To NOT read and know the WORD, and to NOT believe and obey, you will be burned in the Lake of Fire and fry, but not die. You will know PAIN, HATRED, and ANGER, in this world; and in the next world, you will FRY. You will die the "second death". HELL will be the knowledge that you will not spend eternity with GOD, JESUS, and the HOLY SPIRIT, but had the CHANCE, but you made the wrong choice. And God, being the perfect gentleman He is, gives you the FREEDOM to make that CHOICE. THE choice. The most important CHOICE of your life. If you don't do ANYTHING right in your life but ONE THING, making the right CHOICE is what you must do. Making the right CHOICE trumps every evil, lazy, wrong, sinful, lustful, and despicable thing you have done or will ever do. I believe that the Bible is the WORD OF GOD . I believe that every word is TRUE, breathed by GOD Almighty, Creator of the Universe. Some of the Bible was spoken by GOD Himself, some by the Son of God while he was on earth in human flesh. Some of the Bible was spoken by ANGELS, some by PROPHETS, with the Word given to them by the HOLY SPIRIT. But every word of "HIS WORD" (the Bible) was breathed by the Holy Spirit. His WORD comes DIRECTLY from GOD. Reading His Word through from start to finish is a great exercise for both those who have never read the Bible, as well as devout Christians who have studied the Bible for years. It puts everything in CHRONOLOGICAL context, and follows God's PROGRESSIVE REVELATION of Himself from start to finish, even though it gets repetitive in a couple of places [DEUTERONOMY and CHRONICLES, for instance]. Reading His Word is also great for AGNOSTICS (who do not know if God exists) and ATHEISTS (who believe that God does NOT exist). This is a chance for the agnostic to learn that there IS a GOD, and for the atheist to SAVE himself from PAIN, HATRED and ANGER, and the "SECOND DEATH". Reading HIS WORD would be wonderful for Buddhists, Mormons, and Muslims, and all OTHER religions, so they can learn who IS the ONE TRUE GOD of the universe. Do not REFUSE to read His Word. Read His Word and find out if you STILL believe in YOUR religion and your GOD. I CHALLENGE you. Read and see if you do not agree that Lord God Almighty, JEHOVAH (as GOD is known by Christians), YAHWEH (as GOD is known by JUDAITES [Judes]), IS the one TRUE GOD (no one will know but you, if you fear persecution). Remember, our GOD is still ALIVE, and is able to help you and SAVE you from the LAKE of FIRE [like A PIG at a LUAU, you will be FRIED] FOREVER. You need to read ALL of the Word of God. You need to learn who God IS [and WAS, and EVERMORE SHALL BE], learn who Jesus IS [and WAS, and EVERMORE SHALL BE], learn who the Holy Spirit IS [and WAS, and EVERMORE SHALL BE], and learn to BELIEVE that God created and controls the universe, and that His Holy Spirit is available to enter our SOULS, wash our souls clean from sin, and dwell within our bodies, making us STRONG against temptation, and FILLING our hearts with LOVE for others and COMPASSION for those who are LOST to SATAN, HELL, and the "SECOND DEATH", the LAKE OF FIRE! If you don't know God, read the Old Testament and come to know the Old Testament God (quick tempered and angry when man, even men of His chosen people, Israel, [whom He called "stiff-necked" and stubborn] worshiped other gods rather than the one true GOD: YAHWEH (as He was known to the Israelites, JEHOVAH as he is known by Christians). However, God was ALWAYS loving and kind to those who LOVED and WORSHIPED HIM. Read and observe GOD'S love for David, who became the second King of Israel. Saul was the first king, and was humble at first, but became vain, conceited, and egocentric. God took the position of king from him and gave it to David, but Saul did not take to that well. In fact, he became quite MAD (indwelt with demons). David was chosen by God, but had to flee from Saul and his army for many years. Saul was trying to kill David, but David respected SAUL as God's anointed King, and refused to kill Saul, even when it was easy for him to do so. If you don't know JESUS (the second person of the TRINITY), read the New Testament, and come to know the New Testament God (the same God, but revealed progressively further, revealing tender and compassionate love for ALL his children who worship Him, (Gentiles, Israelites and Christians) and slow to anger, and waiting patiently for all mankind, everyone, to hear the "GOOD NEWS" (the GOSPEL). If you don't know the HOLY SPIRIT, He is revealed throughout the entire Bible, and is the third Person of the Trinity. Read both the Old and the New Testaments. Note: in the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit came into people only for a short time and worked miracles and prophecies. In the New Testament, however, the Holy Spirit came into a person who was "saved" from HELL and STAYED within him for the rest of their lives, as He still does today. If you have trouble understanding three Persons of the One True God, know that it is IMPOSSIBLE for the human mind to comprehend. Just think of God as having a "multiple personality ORDER". He is three distinct persons, but He is ONE God. Accept it, and just move on with your reading of "HIS WORD". If you want to live ETERNALLY in Paradise with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit; then read John 3:3, John 3:5-6, John 3:16, John 3:18, Matthew 6:9-15. Then, in a RED letter version of the Bible, read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The red letters indicate that it is Jesus, the son of God, speaking. (In THIS version of the Bible that you are reading now, the RED letters indicate Jesus speaking, MAGENTA [pink] letters indicate that angels and prophets are speaking FOR God, or God HIMSELF is speaking, BROWN letters indicate Satan speaking). If you don't understand the Bible (His "WORD"), and do not know how to APPLY it to your life today, read the Bible and www.HisWordApplied.com from start to finish, and have the meaning and application revealed to you by the Holy Spirit during prayer and meditation (and/or applications revealed to me by the Holy Spirit). Before you read, pray that the Holy Spirit reveals to you the meaning of what you are reading, and how to apply it to you, personally, that very day, that very moment. Then read just one chapter, both in the Holy Bible and in www.HisWordApplied.com. Then mediate, and listen for the Holy Spirit speak (by putting thoughts into your mind). Then concentrate on how you are going to apply this truth in your life today. Be careful that it is not
Satan putting the thoughts in your mind or desires in your heart, for Satan is the Great Deceiver. If
the thoughts or desires conflict with anything said in the Holy Bible, the
thought or desire is not from the Holy Spirit, but from Satan. Do not skip any book except Proverbs and Psalms. Read them last, after you read the rest of the Bible first. Psalms and Proverbs are wonderful, but do not fit into the chronological and progressive revelation of God, which you will want to follow. They stand on their own, and we will read them last. I offer notes when it seems advisable for me to do so, and offer to you what the Holy Spirit revealed
to me as an APPLICATION to my life, on that specific day, at that specific
moment, in that specific location. Mine is not the ONLY application, of course, and may not apply to you and your
life at all. Only the Holy Spirit, in His infinite wisdom, knows
exactly how to apply this Truth to YOUR life TODAY, where you ARE. Pray for Him to do so, and He
will. So, in the hope that you will come to KNOW GOD, believe His SON Jesus, and be filled with the HOLY SPIRIT, cleansing you of sin and filling you with true joy, love for others and compassion for those who are lost, I PRAY that you read His WORD. INSTRUCTIONS for READING THE WORD 1. Find, borrow, buy, or get a Bible (many versions are available on the internet. Go to: www.BibleGateway.com A modern translation, such as NEW KING JAMES (a word for word translation), or a phrase to phrase translation (an up-to-date phrase for a 2000-year-old phrase), SUCH AS THE LIVING BIBLE. Example: the old phrase: "do not boast while putting ON your armor, but when you are taking OFF your armor"; meaning: "your fight has yet to be won, and you may not have reason to boast after the fight is over; you may even be dead". The new phrase is: "Don't count your chickens before they are hatched." Any Bible-based church will give you a Bible. Just walk in and ask. Any jail or penitentiary will give you a bible. Just ask the chaplain. 2. Set time aside: allowing one hour a day of quite time when you can be alone with God. (If you are not working and you HAVE the TIME, you can read more that one chapter a day. But be sure you give time for PRAYER, MEDITATION and COMMITMENT on each chapter.) 3. Pray: Thank God for giving us His Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the meaning of His Word to you. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal how to APPLY the meaning to YOUR LIFE, TODAY. 4. Read: Go to the words "His Word Applied" at the top of this page in the gray horizontal bar. Click on it, and a menu drops down. Drop your cursor down into the blue menu and select which Testament you want to read, and another menu box drops down. Move the curser (without leaving the blue box), and select which book you wish to read. The long menu box that dropped down will be longer than your screen. Pick the book you wish to read (without taking the cursor out of the blue field). Click on it and the book index will come up. Select and Read the chapter, and click on the "return to (book) menu". Then select the next chapter you wish to read. Note: when you get to the bottom of your screen, hold the cursor in the blue field and hit the down arrow on your keyboard (or roll the scroll wheel [if you have one on your mouse]. The field will move up. Read all the chapters in those books, and then go up to the top of the page and click on "Home". Read all of the Old Testament. Then read the New Testament. Read Psalms next, Read Proverbs last, and PRAISE God Almighty, Creator of the universe. Read only ONE chapter a day from the BIBLE first, then read the words I copied and my notes and applications, reading EVERY DAY, (unless you have TIME to pray, read, and meditate on more). Read straight through to The Revelation, chapter 22, verse 21. Do not skip any book, chapter, or verse EXCEPT Psalms and Proverbs. Psalms and Proverbs stand on their own, and do not fit into the CHRONOLOGICAL STORYLINE and PROGRESSIVE REVELATION of God in the Bible, which we want to follow in order to see His Word in CHRONOLOGICAL CONTEXT. 5. Close: Pray and meditate. Then close your prayer with a COMMITMENT to God of WHAT you are going to DO TODAY to apply His Word to your life (and every day thereafter). Then, PRACTICE that action to which you have just committed, until it becomes a HABIT. 6. My notes and applications are examples of what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me as how to apply the meaning. 7. Time to complete: It will take about 7 years to finish His Word (the Bible) reading one chapter a day. I do NOT recommend proceeding at a faster rate, unless you HAVE the TIME (at least one hour for each chapter) to devote to prayer, reading, meditation and commitment. You need to UNDERSTAND what God has said to you, and MEDIATE upon it, and APPLY it THAT VERY DAY and EVERY DAY thereafter. 8. Whenever you are saved or already a Christian: Click on "Serve" in the gray bar at the top of the page, and read what you are to do then. 9. Or, if you are finished reading His Word Applied, you can start reading "His Word Applied" over again, OR start daily devotionals, such as The Upper Room, OR study the Bible in the original Greek, Latin, Arabic or Hebrew language. But, STAY in the Word of God, EVERY DAY, and you will be BLESSED (made HAPPY and HEALED). 10. The moment you are SAVED, go to "SERVE" in the gray bar at the top of the page, and READ IT and DO IT for the rest of your life here in THIS WORLD.
